Police Searching For Two Suspects Who Burglarized P.S. 117 in Briarwood Wednesday

Police are searching for two suspects who burglarized a public school in Briarwood Wednesday.

Police said that the two suspects, a man and a woman, broke into P.S. 117 The Joyce Keld/Briarwood School located at 85-15 143rd St. on Aug. 5 at around 4:45 a.m.

The pair had jumped over two fences and gained entry through the rear cafeteria door, police said.

The suspects rummaged through the building and stole an undetermined amount of property, police said.

The assailants then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

Both suspects are described as being between 20 and 30 years of age.

Police released video footage of the suspects during the incident.

A Brooklyn woman was struck and killed by a motorcyclist while crossing a busy intersection near Forest Park in Glendale on Friday afternoon.
