A St. Albans man was killed in a motorcycle crash on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens Village Saturday.

Michael Roach, 31, succumbed to his injuries after crashing his 2012 BMW motorcycle on the Cross Island Parkway at about 4:30 a.m., police said.

He was driving the bike southbound on the parkway, near 109th Avenue, at a high speed when he lost control, according to police.

Responding officers found Roach, of Dunkirk Drive, unconscious and unresponsive with trauma about the head and body. EMS rushed him to Long Island Jewish Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is investigating.

Following the tour, Moya announced he is re-establishing the Roosevelt Avenue Task Force, a multi-agency effort to tackle pressing concerns that was initially created in 1991 but has faltered in recent years.
