A South Ozone Park woman was arrested for attempted murder and a slew of other charges Monday for allegedly tossing her newborn infant out a window of her home Sunday.

Sabita Dookram, 23, was cuffed around 2 p.m. Monday for the grisly crime outside her home on 126th Street, police said.

Dookram’s newborn son was found lying naked — with his umbilical cord still attached — near the side of the home around 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

The new mom allegedly gave birth to the baby in the bathtub and then tossed him out the bathroom window, the New York Post reported.

The baby remains in critical, but stable condition at Jamaica Hospital, a police spokesperson said.

Dookram was also charged with attempted manslaughter, assault, reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, abandonment of a child and acting in a manner to injure a child.

She was taken to a local hospital for a psychological evaluation.

She should have consulted a lawyer beforehand. If she would have killed the baby 10 minutes before in the womb, it would have been considered an abortion.
