Police are looking for a pair of thieves who allegedly stole a bracelet worth $1,500 from a 65-year-old woman in Woodside last month.

The suspects—a male and female—were riding a gray Dodge SUV on Sept. 12 at around 6:40 p.m. when they pulled up in the vicinity of 59th Street and 37th Avenue and asked the victim for directions, police said.

The female suspect, who was sitting in the rear passenger seat with the window down, placed bracelets and rings on the victim’s arms and fingers while the victim was providing them with instructions. The man was the get-away driver.

The female perpetrator then allegedly snatched the victim’s bracelet from her left arm before the pair fled the scene in the vehicle southbound on 59th Street, cops said.

The NYPD released video footage of the alleged incident.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
