The police are looking for a man who robbed a Capital One Bank branch in Astoria Monday.
The suspect allegedly entered the 31-17 Broadway branch at around 4:10 p.m. before passing a note to the teller and demanding money.
The teller complied and handed over nearly $3,000 in cash, according to police. There were no injuries and no weapons displayed.
The suspect is described as being a light-skinned male in his mid 30’s, with black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray dress shirt, jean shorts and black sneakers.
Police released a photo of the suspect that was taken on the bank’s security camera.
