The development boom on 52nd Street between Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Boulevard continues with a real estate company filing plans to construct a nine-story, 33-unit development on the stretch.
The proposed development would go up at 43-09 52nd St., where a 3-story multi-family building is currently located. The site is adjacent to a property where a 10 story 60-unit building is going up. Across the street, at 43-30 52nd St., a 5 story, 10-unit development is being built.
The developments are all within a block of the 52nd Street subway station.
The building plans for the 43-09 52nd St. site call for a 90-foot-tall structure that would yield 24,546 square feet—all for residential purposes. The owner is listed as Ivan Turkalj of Kordun Construction Corp. Demolition permits have yet to be filed.
The design firm is listed as T.F. Cusanelli & Filletti Architecture.
