The apartments are located in a new 14-story building called Halletts Point 7, located at 3-3 27th Ave.

All of the units in the building are classified as affordable.

The units are a mix of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The units are available to households earning income levels of 40 and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI) via the lottery – or those with an eligible income range of between $25,372 and $86,460.

All units come with large windows and energy-efficient appliances and light fixtures. All residents will have access to a tenant lounge, a community room, fitness room and a shared laundry room.

The largest share of units on offer are for two-bedroom units with a total of 73 units on offer. The units are available to households of between two to five people.

There are 32 two-bedroom units going for $1,000 a month and 41 units on offer for $1,601 a month. Income requirements begin at 38,058 and can go up to $86,460.

Rent includes gas for heating while tenants are responsible for paying for electricity.
