Police are looking for a man who mugged a straphanger on board a 7 train in Sunnyside Monday.
The suspect approached a 55-year-old woman and ripped two gold chains off from around her neck as the train was pulling into the 46th Street Bliss station at around 12:15 p.m., according to police.
The man then exited the train with the gold chains once it stopped at the station, police said. It is unclear how much the necklaces are worth.
There were no injuries reported.
Police released a video and images of the man wanted for questioning.
The suspect, who is bald and has a beard, can be seen in the video wearing a gray-colored top and blue shorts. He was also carrying a black-colored backpack.
