70-Year-old Astoria Man Goes Missing, Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Him

The police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 70-year-old man who went missing in Astoria Tuesday.

Panagiotis Mouhlizis, of 42nd Street in Astoria, was last seen at approximately 4:40 p.m. walking northbound on Crescent Street in the vicinity of Ditmars Boulevard.

Mouhlizis is described as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple and black jacket, blue sweatpants, and gray sneakers.

Police have released a photo of Mouhlizis.

Anyone with information in regard to his whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
