Pair of thieves steal man’s shoes during assault at Glendale store

Cops are looking for a pair of crooks who assaulted and robbed a man in Glendale over the weekend.

According to police, at 6:24 p.m. on April 22, a 28-year-old man was heading into AutoZone, located at 749 Wyckoff Ave., when he saw a man and woman outside of the store. A dispute occurred between the man and victim, which led to the man striking the victim on head with a glass bottle.

As the victim was being assaulted, the female suspect took his sneakers, police said. The suspects then fled the scene.

In a post on Twitter, the 104th Precinct noted that the suspects were known to the victim as “Justin” and “Bridgette.”

The NYPD released a photo of Justin on Twitter.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Police from the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood are searching for a man who allegedly robbed an 88-year-old woman in Maspeth on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The senior was walking near the intersection of Brown Place and 58th Avenue, two blocks south of the Long Island Expressway near Frontera Park, at around 4:45 p.m. when the alleged perpetrator snuck up behind her and forcibly removed her pocketbook, police said Tuesday.
