Regular screenings may help in early detection of breast cancer, Holden said. He is encouraging all women to get screened.

“Breast cancer screening is not just a simple medical test; it is a crucial step towards ensuring the well-being of every woman,” Holden said, adding that testing can “significantly” increase the chances of successful treatment and potentially save lives.

“I’m thrilled to bring this screening event to the district, enabling women to take charge of their health and receive the care they deserve,” Holden added.

For more information, contact Holden’s office by phone (718-366-3900) or via email (district30@council.nyc.gov).
