A Queens Village man was criminally charged with murder in the second degree for stabbing a Springfield Gardens man to death in a Jamaica bodega on Saturday night.

Homicide detectives arrested Jahshua Kelley, 24, at his home on 107th Avenue on Monday night. He was arraigned the following day in Queens Criminal Court, where he faced additional charges of assault after fighting with a police officer during booking at the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica.

Venezuelan migrant arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on attempted murder charges for shooting cops in East Elmhurst: DA

A Venezuelan migrant who entered Queens County Supreme Court in a wheelchair Wednesday morning was arraigned on a 20-count indictment on two counts of attempted murder and other crimes for allegedly shooting two NYPD officers in East Elmhurst on June 3.

Bernardo Raul Castro Mata, a 19-year-old homeless man, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder in the first degree after shooting Officer Christopher Abreu in the leg and Officer Richard Yarusso in his bullet-proof vest after they chased him on foot in East Elmhurst. The cops pursued Mata after he took off while they were trying to pull him over for riding the wrong way on a one-way street on an unregistered scooter. 

Southeast Queens man indicted in 2021 fatal hit-and-run near JFK Airport: NYPD

A St. Albans man surrendered himself at the 111th Precinct in Bayside on Tuesday morning after he was indicted by a Queens grand jury in a fatal hit-and-run near JFK Airport nearly three years ago.

Andre Dweyer, 34, of 104th Avenue near Detective Keith L. Williams Park, was arraigned later in the day in Queens Supreme Court, where he was criminally charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident without reporting and related crimes for allegedly striking 38-year-old Dimitry Maneiro during the early morning of Sep. 27, 2021.
