An off-duty NYPD cop was arrested in Queens during the early hours Wednesday morning for harassing and stalking his ex-girlfriend.

Officer Ernie Moran, 34, had allegedly been badgering the woman since April 1 and was picked up by cops from the 115th Precinct on July 8 at around 12:35 a.m., police said.

Moran allegedly sent his former partner text messages, called her repeatedly and made threats, police said.

Moran also showed up at her Jackson Heights home uninvited. He allegedly stared at his ex-girlfriend through her window in one incident, according to the New York Daily News.

Moran, who resides in Brooklyn, was charged with aggravated harassment and stalking, police said.

He has been on the force for six years and had been working at the housing bureau in Coney Island, police said.

Moran has been suspended without pay, according to the NYPD.

So officer Moron harasses a person he cares about. I wonder how he treated the public in his official duties? Did any of his co-workers report anger issues?
