Pennsylvania Woman Dies from Motorcycle Crash in Holliswood

A Pennsylvania woman has died after she crashed her motorcycle in Holliswood Sunday.

Tineisha Howard, of Allentown, PA, was driving a 2019 Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle southbound on Francis Lewis Boulevard, near Epsom Course, when she lost control of the bike Sunday, police said.

Howard struck a nearby fire hydrant around 7:20 p.m. Police officers responded and found the 42-year-old unconscious and unresponsive with trauma about the head and body.

EMS rushed Howard to North Shore Hospital – Manhasset, where she pronounced dead, police said.

The NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the crash.

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for three burglars who broke into homes in Malba and Murray Hill in March, making off with cash and property.

In the first incident, two of the suspects struck during the afternoon of Thursday, Mar. 7, breaking through the front door of a private residence in the vicinity of 144th Street and 15th Road near the GU Harvey Playground alongside the Whitestone Expressway at around 2 p.m. Once inside, the two men stole $12,000 worth of cash, jewelry and other personal items before running off through the front door in an unknown direction.
