Police arrested a suspect Monday for the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old Corona man last month.

Police officers cuffed 23-year-old Joshua Petillo, of South Ozone Park, on charges of murder, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon yesterday.

Petillo allegedly shot Dante Sartillian, 21, on 40th Road– between Warren Street and Junction Boulevard–shortly before midnight on June 30, police said.

Sartillian, of 111th St, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was rushed to Elmhurst hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim resided less than a mile away from where he was killed.
