Nov. 29, 2023 By Bill Parry Police from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst and Transit District 20 are looking for the three teenage boys who allegedly threw ice at an on-duty MTA subway conductor as she was operating the train doors at the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station during the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 18. Police say the three boys threw ice at her, striking her in the face before running out of the station in an unknown direction, police said. Queens officials celebrate completion of renovation project at Flushing-Main Street subway station

Nov. 28, 2023 By Rachel Butler Flushing Council Member Sandra Ung joined representatives from the MTA to celebrate the completion of upgrades at the Flushing-Main Street subway station on Nov. 22. The NYC Department of Transportation will issue warning notices to violators during the first 60 days on implementation The Q54 route is now the 21st bus route to have Automated Bus Lane Enforcement (ABLE) cameras activated on its route and it is the fifth activation by the MTA so far this year.
