Crook breaks into Glendale pharmacy to steal bottle of medication: NYPD

Police are searching for the crook who disabled an electronic lock system and kicked in a glass door to break into a Glendale pharmacy and steal medication on Aug. 29.

Police from the 104th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a burglary at Myrtle Meds, Inc., located at 76-17 Myrtle Ave., at approximately 2:30 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers met with a 70-year-old male employee, who said that the crook had cut the electronic lock system on the front door of the location and kicked through the glass to go inside. Once inside, the crook grabbed a bottle of medication and fled the scene on an electric moped, police said.

The suspect, a male who was wearing a black jacket with a Nike logo, white sneakers and gloves, headed northbound on 78th Street, according to authorities.

The investigation remains ongoing.
