Detectives out of the 109th Precinct in Flushing have identified a prime suspect in an ongoing homicide investigation into the fatal shooting of a College Point man in January 2022.

Investigators believe 59-year-old Zhang Ming was the trigger man who gunned down 44-year-old Dihao Song, of 128th Street, in the Queensboro Hill section of Flushing on the evening of Jan. 10, 2022.

Just before 5 p.m., police from the 109th Precinct responded to a call of an unconscious man at an apartment building located at 132-44 41st Ave., where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his neck. EMS responded to the crime scene and rushed Song to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The NYPD released photos of Ming on Nov. 15 and asked for the public’s help in locating him.
