Felony assault cases have increased in both northern and southern Queens for the 28-day period from Nov. 20 through Dec. 17, compared to the same 28-day period last year. Nov. 27, 2023 By Bill Parry Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are looking for a man who burglarized a Bell Boulevard restaurant in broad daylight just blocks away from the station house last week. The suspect entered Laterna Estiatorio & Catering, located at 47-20 Bell Blvd. in Bayside, five blocks south of Northern Boulevard, through a backdoor just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22.
