Oct. 30, 2023 By Emily Ramos Police from the 104th Precinct are searching for the thief who stole a man’s wallet in Ridgewood on Sunday, Oct. 15.  The 54-year-old victim and owner of the wallet told police on Tuesday, Oct. 17, he was inside of Zabka Deli, located at 66-51 Fresh Pond Road, on Oct. 15, when he noticed his wallet had fallen. This will mark his second marathon in the span of four weeks, having just ran one in Chicago on Oct. 8. Oct. 30, 2023 By Bill Parry A woman was killed and a man was injured during a chain reaction crash in Springfield Gardens on Sunday, Oct. 29. Police from the 105th Precinct responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision at the intersection of Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and Rockaway Boulevard just before 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 and found a 54-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive. The FDNY responded to a call of a person trapped at 9:01 a.m. on Oct. 27 at a residence at 99 Tennis Place in Forest Hills and were on the scene four minutes later where they discovered a construction worker trapped in debris up to his head.
