
Dec. 4, 2023 By Rachel Butler Community leaders and elected officials gathered at Tangram in Flushing on Dec. 2 for its second annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The evening began with a performance from Dickens-inspired Christmas carolers singing holiday classics for the audience. Queens Council Member Sandra Ung, Senator John Liu, NYPD members, Peter Tu from the Flushing Chinese Business Association and representatives from the office of Mayor Eric Adams joined Santa Claus in turning on the lights on the 40-foot Christmas Tree in the center of Tangram.
