Dec. 8, 2023 By Bill Parry A teenager was shot and wounded in the Rockaways last month and the NYPD is still looking for the two gunmen who remain at large after they were captured on video surveillance firing their handguns. Police from the 101st Precinct in Far Rockaway reported that at around 8:45 p.m. on the night of Sunday, Nov. 19, two young men were walking through a courtyard at the Ocean Bay apartments in Bayswater when they pulled out firearms and began shooting.
