Nov. 29, 2023 By Bill Parry A 16-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight while walking past a Forest Hills medical facility last month, according to the NYPD. Police say the teenager was in front of 96-10 Metropolitan Ave. at around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, when he was approached by a stranger who allegedly pulled out a handgun and forcibly removed the victim’s necklace, earrings and his wallet containing $30 in cash, police said. Nov. 29, 2023 By Bill Parry Police from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst and Transit District 20 are looking for the three teenage boys who allegedly threw ice at an on-duty MTA subway conductor as she was operating the train doors at the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station during the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 18. Police say the three boys threw ice at her, striking her in the face before running out of the station in an unknown direction, police said. The suspect entered Laterna Estiatorio & Catering, located at 47-20 Bell Blvd. in Bayside, five blocks south of Northern Boulevard, through a backdoor just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22.
