Dec. 27, 2023 By Anthony Medina

Two masked men entered a Chase Bank branch in Ozone Park Tuesday where they demanded cash and made off with $4,000, police said.

Police say the duo entered the bank, located at 96-19 101 Ave., shortly before noon, where one of them approached a teller and handed over a note demanding cash. The second man acted as a lookout. The teller complied and handed over the money, according to police.

The suspects then fled the location on foot and headed westbound on 101st Avenue. There were no injuries stemming from the robbery.

Police from the 102nd Precinct are searching for the pair and said the investigation is ongoing.  The NYPD says both men wore ski masks and were dressed in all-black clothes.

Anyone with information in regard to the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
