Street resurfacing expected to sweep parts of Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village and Ridgewood next week

Sep. 8, 2023 By Anthony Medina Street repairs in the neighborhoods of Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village and Ridgewood will begin this month both in the day and night time hours, according to Queens Community Board 5 (CB5). CB 5 shared the Department of Transportation’s notification of day and night resurfacing in the district, with milling and paving during the night expected to begin as early as Monday, Sept. 11, and day work starting sometime around Thursday, Sept. 14. Sep. 7, 2023 By Dean Moses Two people were shot to death in what sources say appears to be an attempted murder-suicide in broad daylight in Ozone Park Thursday evening. According to police, NYPD officers rushed to Drew Street and 101st Avenue, within the confines of the 102nd Precinct, at around 5:40 p.m. on Sept. 7.
