Addabbo to host annual Veterans BBQ in Howard Beach in September

Three Queens organizations awarded grants from The New York Women’s Foundation

Aug. 25, 2023 By Carlotta Mohamed Three Queens nonprofit organizations were recently announced as recipients of The New York Women’s Foundation’s (NYWF) latest round of grantmaking, totaling $2.57 million across 34 organizations in the city advancing reproductive justice, safety, healing and shifting the narrative to support cultural change.  This grantmaking solidifies the foundation’s commitment to women, girls and gender-expansive people across NYC. The foundation will provide a total disbursement of $1,040,000 across 13 organizations, including the LGBT Center Intercultural Collective in Jackson Heights and the New York City Network of Worker Cooperatives in Elmhurst.   These organizations are included in groups…
