A man is dead – and two other men are injured — after a sports car they were in plowed into a tree just off the Clearview Expressway early Wednesday.

The man killed was sitting in the front passenger seat of a 2016 Dodge Charger that spun out of control just after 3 a.m. in Bayside, according to police.

The driver, 25, hit a guardrail after failing to properly navigate the roadway, causing the Dodge to veer off the expressway and into a tree.

The Dodge driver was traveling southbound on the Clearview Expressway and was attempting to take Exit 4 to get onto the Long Island Expressway. There was a 24-year-old man sitting in the rear seat of the vehicle at the time of the crash, police said.

Both the driver and the rear seat passenger are listed in stable condition.

When police arrived on the scene, they found all three men inside the vehicle.

Both passengers were transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Hospital where the 30-year-old front-seat rider was pronounced dead. His name has not been released, pending family notification.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car was transported by EMS to North Shore University Hospital-Manhasset in stable condition, cops said.

It is unclear whether speed played a role in the collision.

Police say there were no other vehicles involved in the incident and that the investigation is ongoing.

The NYPD did not provide any further details.
