The police are looking for three females wanted for robbing two cell phone stores in Corona on Monday.

The first incident took place at around 5:15 p.m. inside Boost Mobile, located at 103-19 39th Ave., when the women entered the store and asked an employee to see an iPhone valued at $500. One of the women snatched the phone out of the employee’s hands and then they all fled the store.

The second incident took place about 10 minutes later, at around 5:25 p.m., when they entered Fast Wireless, located at 39-01 104th St., and began removing items without permission. A male employee intervened by jumping over the counter and grabbing one of the females. A brief struggle ensued and the man was robbed of $40 and a pair of headphones valued at $21. The unidentified females then fled.

The police released video footage of the second incident.

Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). From the video footage, it looks like the skinnier lighter build women are sent into the store to initiate the robbery and then the more masculine heavier set woman steps in, to intimidate the store and employee fight for the others. Seems like a tag team operation.
