Suspect wanted for string of burglaries in Ridgewood (NYPD)

The police are looking for a man who went on a burglary spree in Ridgewood last month.
The suspect hit six apartments over the course of September, where he hauled in a total of about $20,000 worth of jewelry as well as some cash.
The first incident took place at around 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 1, when the suspect removed a safe from an apartment at 568 Grandview Ave. The safe contained documents and jewelry valued at around $4,500, police said.
The second burglary took place at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 1682 Grove St., when the man snuck in and took off with jewelry valued at around $3,500.
Just days later, Sept. 14, the suspect broke into an apartment located at 576 Woodward Ave. between 8 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. and removed a safe that contained documents of an unknown value.
The suspect then hit three locations on Monday, Sept. 21 including a home at 1871 Bleecker St. where jewelry and cash valued at $2,200 were stolen at around 6:30 a.m.
The man then broke into a home at 1675 Woodbine St. at around 3:30 p.m. and stole cash and jewelry valued at approximately $5,750. Less than an hour later, he allegedly broke into 1671 Woodbine St. and took cash and jewelry value at approximately $3,700.
