Alleged Pervert Wanted For Groping Two Women Inside Queens Subway Stations

Suspect (NYPD)

July 30, 2020 By Michael Dorgan

Police are searching for an alleged pervert who groped two women inside separate Queens subway stations earlier this month.

The suspect, according to police, assaulted his first victim inside the 74th Street/Roosevelt Avenue subway station on July 13 at around 1:20 p.m.

The man grabbed a 54-year-old female with both arms and squeezed her buttocks as she descended the stairs onto the northbound R train platform.

He then fled the station on a southbound M Train.

Hours later, the alleged pervert pounced again when he touched a 29-year-old woman from behind inside the Main Street subway station, police said.

The suspect grabbed the woman’s buttocks as she descended the stairs onto the 7 Train platform at 20:23 p.m., police said.

He then fled the scene and boarded a northbound MTA bus, according to police.

Police said that neither victim was injured.

The NYPD released a video of the suspect taken just before the alleged second assault.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.

I’m so tired of hearing how crimes are committed only by the police against blacks. Every day there are numerous crimes going on around the city and the picture, whether online or in the paper. A black guy shot a SUNY football player just because he innocently bumped him and then punched him before shooting him. A black guy was arrested for killing a 1 year old baby and a 17 year old who just graduated high school and was going to St. John’s. When is this going to stop?????

Seems like a really bad time to defund the police and de-criminalize most crimes below murder. Currently shootings are triple what they were a year ago and crimes like this one are up 50% and on the rise.
