Be Witch in Queens: Join our Instagram Photo Contest for Best Halloween House and Best Costume

Sept. 28, 2020 Staff Post

The Queens Post, in partnership with NY Space Finders, is inviting all Queens guys and ghouls to join the “Be Witch in Queens” Instagram Photo Contest.

Anyone in the wicked borough of Queens can join one or both of the contests.

One contest is for the best Halloween decorated house in the borough and the other is for the best Halloween costume for any living soul in Queens.

The Queens Post and NYSF hopes to bring some spookiness to Instagram feeds this year as some families may not wish to trick-or-treat during the pandemic.

“Decorating homes and dressing up in costumes is a fun way we could still safely enjoy Halloween this year,” says Luca Di Ciero, founder of the Astoria-based real estate firm NY Space Finders.

The top three photos with the most likes will win a VISA gift card.

The top prize for the Halloween house is a $500 VISA gift card, with second $350 and third $150. Top prize for the costume is $250 VISA gift card, with second prize $150 and third prize $100.

“We encourage the winners to spend their gift cards locally to help support our local businesses in the borough,” said Czarinna Andres, co-publisher of the Queens Post.
