The urgent care provider CityMD opened a location in Springfield Gardens Monday marking its 15th center in Queens.
The company has taken space at 130-30 Farmers Blvd. and is providing services ranging from physical exams, pediatric care, lab tests, and treatment for injuries and illnesses.
“Many residents of Springfield Gardens are already CityMD patients, having previously visited our 162-21 Jamaica Ave. urgent care center,” said Vincent Campasano, the chief operating officer.
“We are proud to be providing the Springfield Gardens community with our patient-centered care in a new convenient walk-in location that features topnotch medical personnel to help battle the pandemic and assist patients with a wide variety of health care needs.”
The company caters to patients with a whole host of medical conditions — including treatment for upper respiratory infections, colds and flu, asthma, allergies, minor lacerations, sore throats, insect bites and rashes, among other conditions.
On-site doctors can diagnose and treat pink eye, croup, minor orthopedic injuries, and nosebleeds. Rapid testing for flu, strep throat, mononucleosis, UTIs and other conditions are also among available services.
CityMD continues to offer three forms of COVID-19 testing at all locations – Rapid, PCR and Antibody Testing.
The center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
