The urgent care provider CityMD opened a new center in Queens Village Monday marking its 16th location in Queens.

The company has taken space at 224-05 Jamaica Ave. and is providing services ranging from physical exams, pediatric care, lab tests, and treatment for injuries and illnesses.

As part of our ongoing commitment to serving Queens borough, we are pleased announce a new walk-in CityMD location for Queens Village,” said Vincent Campasano, MD, Chief Operating Officer, NY Region.

“This is the third Queens borough location we’ve opened this year and look forward to treating Queens Village patients with the same patient-centered expert medical care they’ve have come to expect from CityMD,” Campasano added.

The other Queens locations to open this year are in Springfield Gardens and Sunnyside. The company now has 142 locations, all within the New York metro area.

CityMD caters to patients with a whole host of medical conditions — including treatment for upper respiratory infections, colds and flu, asthma, allergies, minor lacerations, sore throats, insect bites and rashes, among other conditions.

On-site doctors can diagnose and treat pink eye, croup, minor orthopedic injuries, and nosebleeds. Rapid testing for flu, strep throat, mononucleosis, UTIs and other conditions are also among available services.

CityMD continues to offer three forms of COVID-19 testing at all locations – Rapid, PCR and Antibody Testing.

The center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
