A College Point woman was indicted for murder this week for fatally stabbing her former boyfriend in the neck, according to the Queens District Attorney’s office.

Kattie Mino, 20, allegedly plunged a knife into the neck of her ex-boyfriend, Jonathan Estevez, on the morning of March 4 after the pair were arguing about their one-year-old daughter.

Estevez died at a local hospital.

“An argument over the care of their child escalated into deadly violence,” said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. “Now the baby’s father is dead and her mother is facing prison time—leaving this one-year-old without either parent to raise her.”

Mino, of 120th Street, was charged with murder in the second degree, manslaughter in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. She faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
