Creep sought for groping 11-year-old girl on Q77 bus in southeast Queens: NYPD

Apr. 21, 2023 By Zachary Gewelb

Police from the 113th Precinct are searching for the creep who sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl on a Q77 MTA bus near the border of St. Albans and Cambria Heights earlier this month.

Police say that the unknown suspect, believed to be in his early 50s, approached the girl from behind on the bus near Linden Boulevard and Francis Lewis Boulevard just after 7:30 a.m. on April 5. The creep proceeded to rub the girl’s hands, thighs and rear end, police said.

The girl managed to get away from the creep and exited the bus at the next stop, police said. She did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.

Police released an image of the suspect on April 20. He has a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, tan work boots, blue jeans and a light blue T-shirt.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
