The Queens Post is operated by Christian Murray and Czarinna Andres.

Murray is a veteran journalist who worked as a reporter for Newsday and Thomson Reuters prior to establishing the company in 2010. He has a master’s degree from the Columbia School of Journalism and is a graduate of the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Andres is a long-time Sunnyside business operator. She owned Bing’s Hallmark in Sunnyside and served on the board of Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District and Community Board 2.  Andres is a graduate of Assumption College in Manila.

    Jamaica gang member charged with murder for fatal shooting of teen outside McDonald’s in Springfield Gardens: DA

    An 18-year-old reputed gang member is being held without bail after he was criminally charged with murder for allegedly firing multiple gunshots at a car, killing another teenager, outside a McDonald’s in Springfield Gardens on the night of Friday, Sept. 27.

    Rayvon Philip, of 167th Street in Jamaica, was arraigned on Friday morning in Queens Criminal Court on charges of murder in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon for the fatal shooting 0f 18-year-old Akim Cisse following an argument inside the fast-food restaurant.
