A man has been charged for violently robbing an 83-year-old woman on a Forest Hills street last month that left her with a broken elbow.

Alhusene Danso, 20, was arraigned Thursday for allegedly attacking the senior while she was walking along the sidewalk on Queens Boulevard, near 112th Street, on Jan. 3 at around 5:15 p.m., prosecutors said.

Danso, according to charges, jumped out of an SUV and pushed the woman to the ground before snatching her purse and fleeing. The victim’s purse contained a small amount of cash, her cellphone and bank cards.

The senior was shoved so hard that two bones in her arm were shattered after she hit the ground, according to the District Attorney’s office.

The defendant, who is from the Bronx, was charged with robbery, assault, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

“This defendant is accused of brutalizing an elderly woman for the contents of her purse,” said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz in a statement. “This cowardly attack on this woman– old enough to be a great-grandmother– has the defendant facing very serious charges.”

Later that evening, Danso was captured on CCTV footage inside a bodega in the Bronx attempting to use one of the woman’s bank cards. However, he was unsuccessful, Katz said.

He has been ordered to return to Queens Supreme Court on March 25.
