Man Hurls Anti-Asian Slurs and Damages Victim’s Electronic Device in Flushing: NYPD

The NYPD Hate Crime Task force is investigating an incident in Flushing where a man smacked an electronic device out of Asian man’s hands and hurled a number of racist epithets at him.

The incident took place in front of 41-25 Kissena Ave. at around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, when the suspect walked up to the victim and whacked a Samsung device out of his hands and yelled anti-Asian slurs.

The Asian-American man was recording the suspect prior to the incident. The police have released a photo and video of the suspect.
