A 23-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting across the street from the Queensbridge public housing development during the early hours Sunday morning.

Madgey Saleh, a resident of Queensbridge Houses, was gunned down when an unknown suspect fired several shots from a moving car and struck him in the abdomen in front of a deli at 10-03 40th Ave. at around 3:27 a.m., police said.

First of all, most of the killings and crimes that are occurring daily are done to and by people who are out closer to sunrise. Second, I grew up not far from Queensbridge and that complex has always (more than 60+ years) been a breeding ground for crime. You would think after all of these generations of people living there, SOMEBODY would say enough. Guess not.
