A man was fatally struck by an MTA bus Saturday morning in eastern Queens.
The NYPD said that a man on a motorized bike was struck by the bus at around 10:40 a.m. near the intersection of 128th Avenue and 238th Street in Laurelton. The bus was traveling southbound while the victim was riding eastbound.
EMS arrived on the scene where the victim was pronounced dead. The deceased was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The MTA driver stopped at the scene of the accident. He has been suspended from driving while the investigation continues.
The identity of the victim has yet to be released.

the neighborhood gets a little more quiet.
The poor bus driver…Get rid of bikes on the street….bikes belong in the park……this city is only making things worse with the bike lanes, most bikers do not obey the lights and should be ticketed just like a car. Most of these bikers deserve what they get.
