A lighting store in Flushing was burglarized last week and police are searching for the suspect.

The suspect stole $2,000 cash and a laptop worth around $800 from Rivervale LED Lighting Corp., located at 44-33 College Point Blvd., on Jan. 15, police said.

The thief got inside the store by breaking through the front door at around 9:30 p.m. He then took the cash and computer, before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to police.

Cops said a 60-year-old employee returning to work on Jan. 18 — the day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day — noticed the store had been burglarized and called the police.

The NYPD released an image of the man wanted for questioning. He is described as being between 20 and 30 years of age.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @ NYPDTips.
