Man Wanted For Public Lewdness on E Train in Forest Hills Friday

Police are searching for a man who allegedly masturbated in front of a woman on a subway train in Forest Hills Friday.

The suspect was riding a Manhattan-bound E train at around 9:30 p.m. when he began pleasuring himself in front of a 24-year-old woman as the train approached the 71st – Continental Avenue station.

The alleged pervert is described as having a dark complexion with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a green winter hat, a blue face mask, a black jacket, green pants and tan boots.

Police released a cell phone image of the suspect wanted for questioning.

College Point man charged with arson, attempted murder for allegedly starting 2-alarm house fire: NYPD

One of the five civilians rescued by the FDNY from a 2-alarm house fire in College Point on Friday morning was arrested later in the day for allegedly starting the blaze in his first-floor apartment.

Jonathan Mejia, 33, was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on Tuesday, Sept. 16 on a complaint charging him with arson in the first degree, four counts of attempted murder in the second degree and other related charges.
