Three teens sought for alleged assault of MTA conductor in Elmhurst subway station: NYPD

Nov. 29, 2023 By Bill Parry Police from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst and Transit District 20 are looking for the three teenage boys who allegedly threw ice at an on-duty MTA subway conductor as she was operating the train doors at the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station during the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 18. Police say the three boys threw ice at her, striking her in the face before running out of the station in an unknown direction, police said. The 49-year-old victim sustained minor injuries and EMS transported her to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens in stable condition. The NYPD released surveillance...

Teenager busted for fatal shooting in St. Albans that killed a father of three from Cambria Heights on Monday: NYPD

A 15-year-old boy was arrested early Wednesday morning and booked at the 113th Precinct in Jamaica in connection to the fatal shooting of a Cambria Heights father of three in St. Albans on Monday afternoon.

The youngster, who was not identified because he is a juvenile, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon for shooting William Alcindor, 66, as he was driving on Farmers Boulevard just before 5 p.m. on Monday.
