Pair Steal Cell Phones From Glendale Ice Cream Shop: NYPD

Police are looking for a man and woman who allegedly stole two cell phones from an ice cream shop in Glendale last week.

The duo went into Cold Stone Creamery, located at 80-28 Cooper Ave., at around 9 p.m. on July 14 and took off with two cell phones that were left on the counter, police said.

The phones belonged to a 37-year-old man, police said.

Police described the first suspect as a light-skinned man between 20 and 30 years old, about six feet tall and weighing approximately 225 to 245 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, dark shorts and white sneakers.

Police described the second suspect as a light-skinned woman between 20 and 30 years old. She was last seen wearing glasses, a black shirt and black pants.

Police from the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood are searching for a man who allegedly robbed an 88-year-old woman in Maspeth on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The senior was walking near the intersection of Brown Place and 58th Avenue, two blocks south of the Long Island Expressway near Frontera Park, at around 4:45 p.m. when the alleged perpetrator snuck up behind her and forcibly removed her pocketbook, police said Tuesday.
