Building permits have been filed for a 7-story mixed-use building on Hillside Avenue in Jamaica.

The plans call for an 83-foot-tall structure on a site at 87-57 150th St., according to documents filed by the Dept. of Buildings on Jan. 24. The parcel is located on the corner of 150th Street and Hillside Avenue.

The building will contain 59 apartments and will take up nearly 46,000 square feet. There will be apartment units on floors 1 through 7.

The plans call for retail space and an ambulatory health facility on the first floor.

There will be a parking garage in the cellar with 23 enclosed parking spaces. There will also be seven open parking spaces.

The site does not require demolition work before construction of the development, according to the permits filed. The site was previously occupied by a used-car auto dealership.

Ravinder Singh, operating as Hillside Realty Holding LLC, is listed as the owner while Michael Kang Architect is listed as the architect.
