Police Looking For Alleged Pervert Who Touched a Woman at 74th Street Station

The police are looking for a man who grabbed a woman’s private area at the 74th Street/Roosevelt subway station on Monday.

The suspect allegedly grabbed the woman, 54, from behind at around 1:20 p.m. July 13 while she was going down the escalator to the Forest Hills-bound R platform. He touched the victim over her clothing.

The woman screamed and the suspect fled down the escalator in an unknown direction. The victim was uninjured.

The Port Authority on June 1 announced that a Long Island company, the Melville-based Modern Efficient Transport and Supply LLC (METS), has been selected to build and operate an on-airport construction support facility to reduce the impact on neighboring communities over the next several years.
