Police Looking for Man Who Robbed Citibank Branch in Long Island City

Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Long Island City Thursday and fled with more than a thousand dollars.

The suspect walked into a Citibank branch, located at 5 Court Square, at 12:08 p.m. and approached a bank teller. He passed a note to the teller demanding money and indicated that he a gun, police said.

The teller handed over $1,115 and the suspect ran westbound on Jackson Avenue, police said.
