Police Release Video of Person of Interest in Woodside Shooting That Injured Two

Police released a video of a person of interest Sunday in connection to a Woodside shooting that took place in June that left two men injured.

The NYPD is looking to speak to the man in the video in relation to a gun that was fired multiple times into a crowd outside 60-01 27th Ave. at around 3:35 a.m. on June 26, police said.

Two men, a 22-year-old and a 24-year-old, were both shot in the torso. They were treated at an area hospital and survived, police said.

College Point man charged with arson, attempted murder for allegedly starting 2-alarm house fire: NYPD

One of the five civilians rescued by the FDNY from a 2-alarm house fire in College Point on Friday morning was arrested later in the day for allegedly starting the blaze in his first-floor apartment.

Jonathan Mejia, 33, was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on Tuesday, Sept. 16 on a complaint charging him with arson in the first degree, four counts of attempted murder in the second degree and other related charges.
