Police searching for crook who punched 71-year-old man in the neck in Flushing

The NYPD is searching for the crook who assaulted a 71-year-old man in Flushing last weekend.

Police say the elderly man was walking in front of 142-18 38th Ave., within the confines of the 109th Precinct, at approximately 4:30 p.m., when he was approached by the crook, who punched the senior in the neck, causing him to fall to the ground.

The perpetrator fled the scene on foot. 

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
