The Queens Place Mall and surrounding streets were evacuated Monday after a suspicious device near a vehicle in the garage was reported.

The device was reported at around 8:40 a.m. in a vehicle that was “looking strange,” near 56th Ave. and Queens Blvd, police said.

The vehicle was reported to be a black Tesla – with Nevada license plates – that had a battery hooked up to two propane tanks, although police have yet to confirm these details.

Police said that emergency services have been deployed to the location and are advising residents to avoid the area.

Police said people will be able to return to the location once the area is deemed safe.

No other details surrounding the incident were provided.
